Having a baby is a personal, intimate and sacred event in your lives.  Every woman and her partner can benefit from caring and loving support at this time. I believe in supporting you and offering education and guidance to understand your options, with out judgement.  Every family is unique, as is every woman, her partner, her baby, her pregnancy and her birth.  I honor you for who you are and am truly grateful to be witness to this time in your lives. 

In birthing, I believe and trust that your body knows how to birth, and how important it is for you to be confident and let go of any fears.  I know how important the birth environment is in allowing you to birth with complete love and compassion, with a feeling of safety and calm.               

I do not take the place of your partner.  Your partner's role is to simply be there with you, to offer support and love, without any pressure to perform a  specific role, such as a labor coach.  I support your partner as well, in also offering encouragement and guidance if needed or requested.  I am your advocate, in seeing that your preferences and choices are honored.
